Does anyone know why an LG Lightscribe Burner, Model GH22LP20-OEM would not work in the Master position? I worked on this problem for days and finally installed it in the Slave position and it works fine. It also caused Internet Explorer, shut down problems when it was in the Master position. Thanks.

This could be a driver issues or is it software .

Remove device and software first reboot then reinstall
if you have the disk then reinstall should be straight forward.

Try plugging in the device ,
and use the device manager for the drivers update install.
(while in device manager-select device rightclick and update)

This should fix your issue,
If problem persists,
refer the problem to the retailer you purchased from,
should be still under wanrantee if its a new one,
there supplier should honor the warantee no problems....

You may need to provide proof of purchase for warantee.

SOURCE: Ice maker stopped after electric shutoff

You may have a problem with the computer control board in the ice maker.  Try this.  Turn off the icemaker for about 2 minutes.  
Turn on the ice maker and press the clear button.  Press and hold this button for 12 seconds to get it to force extract.  This will confirm that the motors will work and push the ice cubes out.  Afterwards, let it run by itself.  If it still doesn't make ice, you will need to replace the icemaker.

When you say "Just shut off" do you mean the circuit breakers would trip, or fuses would blow? If so, I would have an electrician check that the circuit is properly fused/breakered and wire sized for the amount of power required by the oven. If the installation directions say it needs a 50 amp service, it better be a 50 amp service.
If shutting off is just something within the oven, then get LG back out again, and let us know of what they say is wrong.

the computer should recognize it as a dvd-device though, if not windows is giving u trouble,
so try using any other
freeware burn program like nero or burnatonce to burn,
u necessarily need the original software.
to get anew copy of software email the manufacturer, then post send the cd in exchange for a newer one or look on th homepage if they have something fittng your drive- model and operation system ready to download...
