Server Disk Full error

When trying to scan large documents (over 10 pages) to an email address we are getting "server disk full" error and there is no error code. I have tried searching KM documentation for this but cannot find any reference. The only thing I have found suggested a firmware update but do not find any for this model. Any help would be appreciated.

SOURCE: transfer error with large documents

If it was a memory error the copier would indicated this.

It may be due to bad line connection or limitations of the server, but if you are getting a log error, it is most likely a bad connection to the internet.

Check you smtp server settings in admin settings. Verify there correct. If your smtp server needs your email address and password to send, that should be populated as well under them smtp authentication settings.

SOURCE: How to change scan to email default email?

Download the free user manuals directly from Konica Minolta support and you will find details on all the settings you can adjust for your copier.
There are 26 manuals for your machine. I would just download the network scanner user guide and the Copy/Fax/Scan/Box Operations Quick Guide and look for the procedure there.

Incorrect number of bytes written to disk

A search of the Oracle Metalink site ( http://metalink.oracle.com/ ) for the ORA-27063 and ORA-19502 errors returns Oracle Document ID 271511.1. This note indicates the hard drive of the Oracle server is full.

Resolution:
Free up disk space on the Oracle server. Refer questions regarding the correct way to clear files from the Oracle server to Oracle support.

Try repairing disk permissions by running the Disk Utility application until you get no errors (then restarting).

When i scan to email, i get an error; "send error 2202" and the document is not sent to email. The Kyocera fs-1028mfp printer is connected to the LAN using a network cable.

Apparently there is a communication error between the printer mail server. Can you ping both reliably ? Is it an internal mail server ? If yes, can you ping the printer from it ? Did you try changing the network cable ? How about IP addresses ? Could there be a conflict ?

Error Log Cannot store data of this size. Document Server

The document server portion of the copier not only has limitations to it but it has compatiblity problems with it as well when dealing with mulitiple pages. The SODIMM card could be set for 64mb on your copier and the buffer is too small to work with it. It doesn't work the same way as a fiery server does on todays copiers.

Ricoh tech support has told me there are three ways to use the scanner:

1) Scan to e-mail.
2) Scan to ftp server.
3) Scan to document server using a seperate PC as the server.
4) Scan to a local computer using Desktop Binder.

www.ricoh-usa.com has software to do 3 and 4. #1 can be setup by adding the smtp server to your copier in the file interface section by pressing the user tools/counter. You have to have the IP address to the smtp server in order to get it to work. You can contact your internet provider to get that.

Using the document on the copier is for temporary storage and isn't designed to handle big jobs to it as well. You can experience storage problems as well if your print server is full or you are storing faxes to the memory.

The memory can be updated to the copier as well. It can read a SO DIMM PC100 card up to 256 MB. It's an older memory module that they use on older notebook computers. You can get them at computer stores or get them through PNY.com.
