Hello. i have a cobra 2950 gpsm and i need to upgrade my maps. what do i need? and how much will it cost?

Their software HomeBase is compatible with all Cobra truck navigation models EXCEPT the model 7700. If you have a 7700 then do not use HomeBase, otherwise you will render your unit inoperable. If you own a 7700 then please call Customer Service at 773-889-3087 for update options.

check the manual to see if it tells you how to unlock it if that dont help you check with the place you bought it or look up the manufacter you made it and try and get it unlocked by them hope this helps you.

call the cobra customer service at 1-773-889-3087
give them the serial number from your unit and they should mail you a disc that you run on your laptop to reprogram/update your gps, and there should be no charge. so until then your s.o.l
