Working fine with zero problems for six years! Power went out to house and now I can't get the washing machine to power up - even in an outlet we KNOW works. Please advise. Hoping I didn't blow the computer board but the machine is not seemingly getting any power at all.

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.
first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.
Nick

Hi just read your posting. Now where is you machine draining to?Is it draining into the laundry sink or somewhere else?If it is draining into the laundry sink and not into a grey water hose then I am afraid it must be the green motor controller. This controller has the pressure switch as part of the circuit board.I think though it must be the fet that controls the power to your pump might be faulty. Are you in Australia as there are company's that will test your motor controller if you send it to them. Please reply with additional information and I can help you further.

Hi dear. That's related to size error. When you replace the motor control module you need to set the machine wash capacity like:5Kg or 7.5Kg.To do that please follow the steps: Phase 1 to 6 Size Switch Error
The Display size switch setting does not match that stored in the memory.IW machines, Phase 5 and 6
To access Size Setting Mode. Push and hold the Fabric care button and then press the Power button to enter Size Setting mode. Select the correct size on the display by pushing the White button next to the correct size (phase 5) or using the Adjust button to highlight the right size (phase 6). Size setting is then achieved by pressing the Power button. Powering off will set the size into the memory. Check the size is set before starting a cycle.
I hope that helps.Thanks.

Your pressure value switch is malfunction. First thing you can try that is cheap to fix is to try clean the hose that connects to the outer tub. A lot of times there is algae develops after years of washing.
