I want to buy a laptop. Please suggest me which processor is best? ie. Intel pentium processor or intel pentium dual core processor? Will intel pentium dual core processor overheat easily?
hello,,,,,,,,,,,,,
First you need to be clear that dual core is the family of Pentium series.
so there is no processor called Pentium..............
now regarding your question i would suggest you do not go for dual core...
Take core 2 duo or I3 /I5/I7 series of processor..............
I am giving you a configuration in a good budget
Rs 50,800/-
Intel 3 GHZ Core2 Duo Processor,3 GB DDR2/DDR3 RAM, and a 250/320/500 GB HDD. DVD writer, 15.4-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 dpi. integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 video card, integrated modem and sound card, Wifi, Touchpad mouse and in-built speakers. It has interfaces like Express Card slot, S-Video port, 4 USB ports, Firewire port, bluetooth and a 6 in 1 Digital Media Reader. The laptop comes with an inbuilt camera .
It would be better if you can tell me your budget ...............
So that i can give you a good configuration ......................
I have an hp compaq nx6110 (1.6GHz, Intel Pentium M 1766 MHz, only 14 GB used and 37 GB free on hard drive). It's taking at least 4 minutes to boot up on AC power and running slow even after installing the maximum ram (2 GB) and running Advanced System Optimizer software. I cleaned up and defragged and cleaned the hard drive and registry, I have 77% of my ram free when operating a normal load. Is the Front Bus speed the issue? Registry problem? Also the audio hickups slightly when Windows start up theme plays and when CD plays. Is there anything I can do to speed this thing up?
