I had the same thing happen,so I took it apart and now I'm stuck on what to do now,how many cups of water do I put back in and how long do I wait until I turn it bk on?

Hi, Every now and then water comes out of the bottom. If I fill it for six cups, I am lucky to get 4. Can I take this thing apart? We have had it now for about 4 years. Wish it shut off by itself also. That would be a well rounded coffee maker as we do really like this unit.

Our coffee maker leaks out of the bottom of the unit when we make coffee. Only when we make coffee.

id guess the silicone gasket between pan and tank is leaking or you have scale blockage athe outlet to the sprayhead (clean with bunn spring) or directly at where the pan connects to the tank(poke it with a screwdriver or somthing.

Please get the model and code date located on the bottom of the brewer. The machine has a 3 year warranty and if it is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced at no cost. If it is older than 3 years old, it will be replaced at a discounted price. Once you have this information please call customer service.

Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!

Yes Bunn will send you a repair kit free of charge. Just apply a bead of silicon below the rubber gasket before you tighten it down and it will solve the problem.

Bunn coffee maker leaks water

There are 3 seals in your unit that could cause your problem. there is a silicon seal right under the pour-in tray, and two on the top of the tank. one of those is for the thermostat, the other is for the sprayhead tube. any of these could leak, causing water to come out the bottom of the brewer. One other thing that can cause this is a scale buildup between the pour-in tray and the tank.
