I have a month old Mach Speed Trio Clip MP3 player. Every time I try to turn it on the screen flashes the Trio Clip name and then shuts off right away. I have no idea what could be wrong??

First, make sure that the Mach Speed Trio Onyx MP3 player is fully charged (if you use a rechargeable battery) or insert a new AAA battery. Then press and hold the Play button for 5+ seconds. This will turn off the MP3 player if it is on.
If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
You should have gotten some form of a USB cable or way to connect the MP3. When you connect it, instead of opening the media player, open up your computer options("my computer") and open folder to view files. Then it should give you an option to delete files. (If you want to delete all of your previous media press Ctrl a to select all of your media and then press Delete)
Please try connecting the player into another USB port.If your player still doesn't charge then there are no more home remedies. You will have to get it repaired or replaced if it is still under warranty.
