E1 error on LG dishwasher

I have checked the inlet water valve and water is not making it pass the main valve. Will replacing the water inlet valve fix the problem or is it usually something else?

Take a good voltmeter and check resistance using Ohms. The measurement should be between 800 1200ohms. Mine showed infinity meaning its crapped out.

YEs inlet valve is bad, replaced and now recieving e1 error code. I believe b/c the motor is spinning up too fast.

do you know the part number to replace the motor for this unit? Would i need to replace the impeller too or just get the whole assembly?

As per my email reply chazmano5, the problem is likely to be the water pump/motor assy.

They have a very common fault of the impeller breaking on the motor shaft. The motor still spins, but the impeller doesn't, so there is no water being pumped.

The machine senses there is no water pressure and shuts down, displaying E1 (eg: it thinks no water pressure means there must be a water leak) Unfortunately the motor/impeller is only available as a complete assembly.

My LG LD -2050MH fills with water, stops and then drains straight away on all the programs. No washing or attempt to wash. After all the water has drained error code E1 is shown. Help please.

E1 Leakage error. Cause : water leakage in hose connections. Water is leaked by damages.

The E1 or 1E error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve.

E1 error on Baumatic BAD6003

If you are getting E1 error then the dishwasher is suggesting that water is getting in but not enough. But if you are getting no water into the dishwasher then the water inlet valve inside it is faulty. Have you checked if there is water inside the dishwasher when you get E1 error. Another thing to find out is the water pressure specification of dishwasher and whether it is consistent with the mains pressure in the house. Usually there should be a plate on dishwasher door which would give water pressure required.

Hi, i have an LG dishwasher and am getting an e1 error ... it seems to go through the first wash ok, the soap gets used, the water drains away, but then thats it, ding ding ding...ive cleared the bottom,...

e1 error is failed wash motor it sounds like when it goes to do the second wash its overloading the only other thing it could be is the the inlet valve check to see if the water is coming in before it dies. p.s. as a former service agent for lg the general procedure when we get to an e1 error we just order a wash motor for it & replace it & 90% of the time it works but the other 10% is cocroaches got to the computer or the pump or the inlet valve are faulty & are causing it to overload.

1E means - Water inlet problem >Condition : Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 minute water supply

Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound. Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve. Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.
