Hi,the most common reason for the Games not reading discs is a bad drive. The following website sells the drives and does installs:
store.richspsxparts.com/wiiredvddr
This drive should fix any reading issues you are having with your games, or issues inserting your games or ejecting them (or lack thereof). This is the entire DVD drive assembly mechanism replacement for your game including a new laser. If your discs are not ejecting, or you cannot insert a disc -- or you can insert a disc but it will not load, this is what you need to get your game going again!

The Wii console is designed to only recognize the disc in that region.
If you insert a disc from another region, the Wii can't read it.
You live in the UK, for example. If you insert discs that aren't purchased in the UK (like the USA), the Wii can't read it.
The nav discs come in a set of two. Disc 1 and Disc 2. Insert disc 1 first, if unit does not respond or read nav disc, then you may have a bad copy of the nav disc or incorrect copy.
Try running a cleaner disc in the unit if that doesnt work try the following.
Starting at my computer... Right click on my computer icon.
Go to properties.
Then Hardware tab then go device manager. Right click on cdrom in device list. Select uninstall then reboot the computer. If this doesn't help replacing the unit will be necessary.
