Have you tried the key combination method? if not try it.. Press * - 3 - Green button and power button simultaneously, I mean you have to press all the buttons while the phone is switched off. It'll boot up and you'll be presented with a menu to provide your input. Good luck...

Possible that this can be a hardware or a software issue , Assuming that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software we can try a reset. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone.If the Sim does not register clean the contacts on the board.Also counter check the SIM on another phone.
