If you are trying to use the remote that came with the dvd player you most likely can't get it to work with the TV. If it IS in fact a universal remote, then you need to check the codes that come both with the tv and with the remote. Post back with any more questions or info for further help. Start by pressing and holding the DVD/VCR button located on the top of the remote until allthe mode buttons at the top of the remote light up, then release. Use thenumber buttons to enter one of the codes for your Samsung Blu-Ray Player, then pressthe pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the modelight flashes three times. To check that the code works try several differentfunctions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate your Blu-Ray Player.
