Power is off to the dispensers, maybe due to a power surge and blown fuse somewhere?
The button lock switch along with the other switches on the door use one common return wire for power to the solenoids. The freezer door light switch will stop power to the buttons if it has failed.

GodofHops: The motor that you hear on the refrigerator is the water pump that carries the water to your dispenser. If no water is coming from the dispenser. You have to check 3 things: 1. If there's any water. 2. Water filter clogged. 3. Water line for dispenser clogged with minerales carried on water flow. SithPitt

Sounds like the water solinoid valves are wired wrong. One activates The water dispenser. The other the ice maker. That, why every so often the water shoots out on the floor. The ice maker is telling the valve to open.

hi there,
could be that the ice maker arm is getting stuck or may have some frost on it. can you supply the complete model # please?

You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back and forth from crushed to cube. The crush position is without the solenoid energized. It could be stuck or not working or the parts connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid
Your solenoid is part 45 and the linkage to the crusher is 46. The crusher is 41 on this diagram and parts list. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5150332&diagram_id=1239793#d1239793

Have same or similar problem. MY problem turns out to be that the Auger turns fine, but there is a little metal blade that attaches to the end of the auger and transfers the spin action into this auger "hopper" (for lack of a better term) which actually accepts the ice that has been moved from the back of the ice bucket by the metal auger and then dispenses the ice into the hopper which falls into the glass. the issue is one of crappy design. It turns out that this little blade has a rectangular opening in the middle that the rectangular end of the auger fits into. If this rectangle opening gets stripped (as mine has done, and ALL are likely to do) then the auger spins, the ice is moved forward but none are picked up by the hopper, and none (or very few) fall into the glass.
Everyone should check to see if this is the case. If so you may need to order a new blade, or a new auger, or a new refrigerator.
Good Luck!
Did you replace the bulb with one of the same voltage rating?
Seems strange that a new bulb should blow straight away, maybe it was faulty.
This sounds like a blown fuse.
