Wrong fonts and letter sizes in game

Click "start" type in 'font size ' left click "make text larger or smaller "

To change font and pitch, you need to buy a different printwheel. machines came with a prestige elite 12 printwheel. Prestige elite has small letters and 12 puts 12 charactors per inch. Letter gothic is larger size letters. Google search for ibm wheelwriter printwheel, also called a daisy wheel.

BX fonts at this time are compatible with Embrilliance keyboard lettering software. It is a file that is created by mapping alphabet design fonts in Embrilliance AlphaTricks. After the alphabet design font letters are mapped, the BX file is made and can be then installed in Embrilliance Essentials to choose from when using the keyboard lettering function.

Some vendors who offer alphabet design fonts (each letter/digit is a design at a specific size) will also offer the BX file for that alphabet design font so users of Embrilliance lettering software can also use it as a keyboard lettering font. Note, to install a new font in a machine, you must contact and purchase from the machine manufacturer.

You will need to find the font & font size options on the AOL email system. The font will be what the letters look like and font size will be how large the letters are. Standard font and font size is Times New Roman 12 (this message is in that font and size). You can increase the font size from anywhere like 14 to 72 or so. Try 18 or 20.

You will have to purchase a wheel with different font. Is your machine capable of both 10 and 12 pitch? If it is, there will be a lever near the platton to make this change. For more information, ask at the office supply place where you go to get your new wheel.

Mechanical typewriters are not able to use scalable font. Every letter on a typewriter is the same size as every other letter. You can get larger and smaller letters (font) ... but they will occupy exactly the same size space. The only other option, as I say, is the 10 pitch or 12 pitch (how many letters you "pitch" up on the paper per inch). If your machine has this capacity, you can use both pitches.

make sure the game is compatible with vista and if it is older game made in 1995.then you might have to
explore the cd and right click and properties.find the tab that says compatibility and click what ever year it was made in
if you got all of the back up cd to your vista machine. you can put two operating systems on it and put xp
on at the same time with vista.if you got a xp installation disk i can email directions on how to get two operating systems

right click your desktop and go to personalize
One the left hand side of the screen you will see 'adjust font size (DPI)'
click on this and then click on the tab on the bottom 'custom'
Change the percentage to your desired font size then click OK, Click on Apply and your problem should be solved.

Sorry friend but this game is not compatible with Vista and there aren't any patches. However you can try your luck here. Go thru the thread http://www.theblitz.org/downloads/patches.php#cs

Also i suggest you to run the game with the Xp Sp2 Compatability option turned on.
