If you have a Delta faucet your diverter may need to be replaced. The diveter is located under the spout (see diagram)

Sprayer hose leaks at the base of the faucet after sprayer replacement and thread tape application

Make sure the internal washer is intact and there is no damage to the parts that you are connecting together. Also, do not use too much tape....one or two winds is enough and wind in in the direction of the action of the female connector (clockwise) so you don't bunch it up in one spot.

New kitchen faucet installed just a trikle of water comes out hot & cold, sprayer is fine

remove the fitting at the end of the faucet, it just unscrews off the end,, when you replaced this, and had the water off, many times the rust in the pipes will break loose and follow up the faucet , which clogs in the fine screen located in the piece at the end of the spout ,, just clean it out and you should be ok

Kitchen sink sprayer leaking. Tried to install a new sprayer; but turn off knobs are seized and could not budge. Turned water supply to whole house off, but still cannot remove the old sprayer. These are...

First porblems first; go to Home Depot and pick up two Gator Bite valves (no pipe sweating...work great!), appropriately sized and replace hot/cold water valves under the sink. It would also be best to get 1/4 turn valves instead of a gate valve.

The spray hose is connected at the base of the faucet itself - in the very center of the bottom side of the faucet. It's a very tight and difficult area to work in - you should be able to usscrew the old hose and place the new one directly where the old one was removed.

My Kohler Fairfax faucet pressure /flow has dropped (cold)

Verify the cold water outlet has equal pressure as the hot side outlet at the wall. Check the inlet screen on the cold side water line where it attatches to cold water pipe. The screen could be plugged. Then check the cold side hose for any restrictions. Also check if there is a screen on the outlet side of the cold water hose and see if it is plugged. Otherwise the faucet valve is mis-aligned and will need to be rotated and re-tightened to align the valve to the center so both sides have equal water flow.

Installed brand new marielle kitchen faucet with matching srpay and soap... sprayer is not working. please help

If you used the teflon tape to seal the threads on the sprayer connection. Make sure the tape is has not blocked the line.
Check for any kinks in the hose and it is not pinned against something.

Turn on the cold water and hold the sprayer over the sink and activate.
If nothing happens while still holding the sprayer move from cold water to hot. If still no water there maybe something in the line preventing the sprayer from receiving water.

Highly doubt there is anything mechanically wrong but it has happened before. See if you can swap it for a new one.

Good luck!

No water pressure from Grohe faucet when changed the sink

No, being reversed wouldn't cause it. The only thing that would happen is the direction you turn your handle to get the desired temp. When you remove fittings from plumbing supplies, you can break loose deposits that can clog the faucet. If both the hot and the cold water is affected, then remove the arriator and rinse it clean. That is the little filter looking devise at the end of the spout. But if only one of the supplies are affected (hot or cold) then something has broken loose and is stuck within the valve and needs to be cleaned out. You should take the arriator apart piece by piece making sure to note the order in which you take it apart so it's put back in the right order.

No water flow in kitchen sink

Sorry to say, you will need to replace that faucet, and also when you are shopping for a replacement, inquire about a rosette to cover the hole left by the voided sprayer.
Good luck...

Kitchen sink only running with the sprayer

It is hard to be certain without knowing the type of faucet, but if you have the type that has a single lever, it could be 2 things I can think of. If you have seperate knobs, I can only think of one. If you have the type with knobs, take the aerator screen off the end of the faucet, The screen may be plugged with saw cuttings of pvc or what ever type of pipe, or even the water saver orifice may be stopped up. If water runs freely with aerator off, you obviously have a problem there.
If you have the lever type, the ball valve can be in backwards, or even a little way off, and the water can not get to the faucet. I am guessing, the whole faucet assembly MAY be in backwards, but that too can usually be fixed by changing the ball around.
Hope this fixes you up!
