Change language I have my sansa c 240 in another language which I believe to be either korean or chinese and I would like instructions on how to change it back to english. Can anyone help me?

Korean and Chinese are two very different languages in word and in written form, find out which it is.

Should look up in setup and change language to English. Sounds rather simple, were it for those strange "chinese" characters!
Some time ago a friend had just the same problem. So he went to his favorite Chinese Restaurant, called the manager and the friendly chinese manager solved the problem in seconds!.
Are you sure it's Chinese and not Korean? Because there are not so many Korean reataurants around.

You need to download a full language pack for you operating sistem. just google it . Like " Windows XP Italian language pack" should be one of the first three results

Tap MENU to bring up the menu screen. Tap the wrench icon to bring up the setup menu. Language is the eleventh item on this menu.

nope, sry, its only chinese/english/korean/japanese
to change language press on the blue icon on the top of screen (the one with a wrench) and press the 6th icon, the one that has 4 stripes with an E, a chinese smbol, a japanese smbol and a korean symbol (will you be able to differ between those 4?)

it's under sms.
create new message > message > "options" icon (bottomest left) > writing Language > (choose your language). mine has english, malay, indonesian, thai, korean & simple/trad chinese. (Sorry, no japanese. maybe northeast asian market has.)
you can then set input preference, either under "options" icon > input method, or click on the top right rectangular box in the texting screen itself.

Well, go to the settings picture (just above the headphones and disk)
Go down three times and it should be Language.
So you can change it to French there

Menu-->settings-->world or region or international-->languages-->english

English, French, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Arabic and Korean can be respectively displayed.
