Dual xdvd700 is a very picky device in order for you to play videos on a cd-r disc...you need need a burning software that have video burning capacity...don't just burn video as data copy/backup b/c dvd player won't recognize it. hope this help...
So it's base on how you burn your disc...NO data backup/copy ...use Video Burning instead

I BURNED A DVDRW ON MYCPU BUT IT WONT PLAY IT ON XBOX360 OR DVD PLAYERS

If you are trying to play music, then there could be only two problems.
1. Some DVD-RW can unintentionally trick you into thinking that they can play music, if inserted into the right machine. But really what it might really mean is that it can transport music, not play it.
2. The format of the file that you burned onto the disc may not be compatible with the type of DVD-RW that you have.

If you are trying to put an actually DVD/Movie onto the disc, then it is more than likely a format problem. I imagine that it may be really hard to get a video into the correct format so that it can be played on a DVD-RW.
I assume that whatever you are putting onto the DVD-RW is completely original. If it is not (such as a movie you got offline) then copyright laws will take all happiness out of your life.

How to download mp3 music into the dvd disc

You can burn the mp3 music files to a DVD disc. Just burn the mp2 files as normal data files.
Some CD players can play mp3 music files but they need to be burnt onto a CD disc NOT a DVD disc.

Dvd-audio cd burning issue

If you are burning a "Data Disc" (the burning software should tell you or have you select it) then music will NOT work on a CD-player. It will only work in another PC.

Data disc is for files, pictures, videos, music that you want other COMPUTERS to be able to read and play.

If you want a music CD to work in a car or something like that it NEEDS to be burned as a music disc, not data.

Hope that helps.

Burnt songs and they wont play in my car???

im assuming you have a dvd player in your car as opposed to a regular cd player

you need to look in the manual of your car stereo and see what kind of discs it can read... there are dvd+r, dvd-r, dvd-wr, dvd-ram, dvd-r (dual layer), etc, etc....

make sure your using the correct format disc and also make sure when you burn the music that your burning them in a file format compatible with your stereo (wmv, mp3, etc) check the manual
