A while ago we changed our wireless and our password. From then on, my laptop has not been able to connect to the wireless network. I have tried removing the network and rejoining it but it has not worked. I'm getting sick of not being able to use internet on it. When I hit connect it tries to find the network and then stops without warning- before even asking for the password. I have tried hitting "repair" but it stops in the middle as it cannot connect to the internet. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

So u can connect to the router, but you arent allowet to access the internet?
The router gave your dell a new ip-number, but it dident gave you access to the net. You ned to do the settings in your router manual, let the router give your dell full access.
Good luck

Make sure you are connecting to your own internet connection through your wireless router and not on your neighbor's.....limited connectivity means you are out of reach or signal is blocked....

Your Dell may not have the wireless card driver installed.
Install the latest wireless driver.
You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Hi,
Not all Dell code generators work on the the service tag ending 595B even though they state they will. Only Dell have the master password generator for that tag ending.
If you are the outright owner of the laptop and you can provide proof of purchase Dell will give you the code themselves for no fee.
If you are the owner then I suggest you give Dell customer services a call. Below is a link to Dells support website where you will get a phone number for them.

You should find it easy to use and Dell's customer service are very helpful.
Good luck.
