Caravelle by Bulova watch strap adjust

I have a new caravelle men's watch and i need to remove two links. Inside the strap are arrows and there are what looks like slot screws on one side of each link. I don't have a model # except on the instructions manual is "Book No. 508R". Help Thanks

You need to push the pins out in the direction of the arrows. Then take out one link from each side. Put the pins back in the same way they came out, with the slot pointing the same direction as before.

What is this watch model Caravelle By Bulova c875182 45C04 and 05

Click on the link and ID your watch. The numbers are not identified. If you bought it on eBay, Amazon or anywhere other than a dealer shop, it is a Chinese clone. They make up model numbers for effect and to avoid litigation.

Time to replace the battery, but cannot manage to remove the back cover. Any special tricks? I'm familiar with using sharp knife blade to do this, but it's not working. Thanks!

You defenately need a watch case opener.

It can be more than difficult to open a watch case with a sharp knive/screwdriver without destroying it.

A case opener can be the only solution.

Otherwise you'll have to bring your watch to a professional to get the battery replaced.

Vintage Caravelle runs fast

A quick look at ebay shows plenty of Bulova watches and only a few looking for a worthwhile price.

I think if you have it repaired for sale it probably won't be worth the effort or expense. If the watch has sentimental or nostalgia value to you I think that is what would make it worth getting a good watchmaker to look at it.
