Samsung LN-T3253h won't turn on; blue amb & standby lights on

The problem is that the television won't turn on at all. The blue ambient light-bar at the base is always glowing when plugged in, as is the red standby LED; neither blink no matter what I do (manual or remote power buttons). I have yet to open it up to check, but I thought the combination of lights being on might signify something specific.

I have the same problem. Anyone have fixes? Unplug it many times for half hours, plug it back in, still doesn't work!

Your sets have stuck in stand by mode. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it by yourself. Please consult some qualified technician.

Hello. My Samsung LCD model # LN-T3253H 60"/61"

It sounds like your LCD panel or your T-con board is bad . Panels are expensive so I would replace the T-con board first. You have to open the TV and get the part number from the actual board in order to find the correct one. You can find parts at www.interliquidparts.com

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Remote code

If this is for a universal remote, the different manufactures assign their own user code to set up their universal remote. They internaly convert to the proper protocol for the TV based on an internal software table.

LN-T3253H issue with camcorder

Samsungs will not switch to an input that has no signal going into it. Try putting the cables into the TV, then hit play, then switch to the correct camcorder input.
