If the batteries died while the camera was in use, the probability is that there has been internal damage to the camera.

I had the same problem just this morning...but I fixed it!

If you have manipulated any of the files on your camera...by opening them on your computer and modifying them...then the camera won't decode them. This is because the dimensions change and exceed the dimensions of the camera. Try returning your pictures in your camera file to their original state and saving it to the camera. Don't forget to delete the ones that don't work. This should work.

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries, place them back in the camera and give them a good charge (assuming that you're using rechargeable batteries). This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

I couldn't find the camera you listed, but there is a VPC-t1495. Here is a link to it:

We bought a 7 inch black duronic photoframe for a relative at Xmas. We only found out recently they couldn't work it. Today I have tried. It reads the SD card from my wife's posh lumix camera...

there should be a reset button at the back of the photoframe. try push.
try to use a usb thumbdrive instead of sd card. copy some jpg files from your computer into it.

What does the E mean on the screen.I put a new film in at Xmas time and only took a few pictures when the E showed up and couldn't click the picture. took to camera shop replaced batteries and film ...

If you go to http://www.pentaximaging.com/support/manuals-and-literature/ you can find the manual for your camera. From my experience the E on a Pentax camera means the film isn't loaded properly. Hope this helps.

Cannot get english on camers

Read the manual section which states setup or setup language. You will be given several options, then select English and return. Now your camera would display everything in English. If you do not have your manual go to this link to doanload it.

Need manual for sanyo vpc-t1060

You need a manual for the VPC T1060? This must be a camera no longer supported by Sanyo. I went to the website to get your manual, and I can't find it listed anywhere. You posted this question under the VPC T700 catagory. Is that the model you meant to get? If so, the link for the manual is here.
