Pull out the drum unit assembly. Pull the jammed paper up and out of the printer. If you cannot remove the drum unit assembly easily at this time, do not use extra force. Instead, pull the edge of the jammed paper from the paper tray. To prevent damage to the printer caused by static electricity, DO NOT touch the electrodes shown below.
Open the back output tray. Pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit. If the paper jam can be cleared, go to Step 7. After you have just used the printer, some internal parts of the printer are extremely hot! Wait for the printer to cool down before you touch the internal parts of the printer.

This could be a fuser issue or a paper exit sensor issue. Please take out the fuser and check the pressure roller. Be careful, the fuser is extremely hot.
I'm sorry to inform you I referenced the removal of the fuser as it's simple for most machines. However on the 2600 it's buried inside. If you can pull it out the machine will have to opened up to remove the paper. The process includes 18 steps to get it out.
If you want the instuctions on how to remove I can upload them to scribd and provide you with a link. Other than that it would require a service call to a technician or your IT department.
I want to ask u one thing how this problem occure any bdy hv open the fuser if so then check the o/p bin flaps stucks inside open & refix them ur problem hv resolved

Not easy, thats the fuser, normally it is damaged and beyond it causing paper to jam there, no easy fix, cant pull it out without major screwdriver challange...I think thats this one... some fuser s(hot bit that paper exits), are pop out by green release tabs but if I have my models right these are the cheaper version and they fix them to the machine thus ensuring you upgrade..modern world..
Ok if the paper is half way coming out, Two things could be happening. 1.) Either your paper feed tires are Slipping and haven't reached the outpit bin sensor in time. 2.) second problem could be is that the fuser film is worn and is not fuser correctly and needs to be replaced.
The printed page comes through the hot fuser at the top of the printer, through the exit rollers an end up in the exit bin.
We cleared a massive paper jam out of the fuser, by removing the grey surround on top of the printer. The plastic hooks that hold it in place get broken in the process, then you will the jammed paper between the fuser rollers, and the exit rollers. A technician can do it for you, but is unessersarly costly.
