Unlock Region Code/Instructions - Request

Hi I have a Hitachi 32"smart tv/dvd combo does any know the region unlocking code please

did u check region settings sir?

You need to go in the menu and change the region code. yours is not set for amarican made dvd's

If you buy the combo in the US, its region 1 and can play all the other regions.

how to get region codes for my tv/dvd/ipod combo as it will not play my american movies?

the Built-in DVD player only runs Region 1, if this is not bought in UK, i'm afraid it cannot play DVD's from UK.

YES, it can be changed to view all regions. I've just done my new RC388 (bought it 4 hours ago) and it works.

To start the hack:
Click the home button on the remote, go to the Setup page, highlight the 16X9 TV aspect ratio and enter in this coded sequence: 1 3 9 7 1 3 9

A new factory menu now comes up on the screen.

To change the values of these options hit the enter button and scroll with arrow keys until you get to the option you want to change. For the region code hack replace the value of "option 5" with the value of: ff

Press enter.

(Changing this value will set unit to region code 0 which should allow any region to be played on the player.)

Now, hit the "return" button to save and exit.

Switch off the machine - switch on - all is well now.

7. The currently selected region will be indicated on the TV. 
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, the 2 button for region 2, and so on, or the 9 button for multi-region playback 
9. Press the Menu button on your remote control 
10. Press the Menu button on your remote control 

Tested with Region 1 DVD's on my UK player (Region 2 bought from Comet)

Hi I have some codes but no one for combo, let me know if is another make on it, because some times their name is Daewo combo or other maka, because combo means combinate.
