On my son's KNG Mcqueen Alarm Clock Radio (number 0806 on bottom of clock), the LCD screen is messed up. Only partial numbers are visible. How can I make the full numbers visible so we can read the time?

Look at the display. Look for a number 1 or a number 2 to determine which alarm is on. If you see a number 1, push the 1 button on the top right side of the alarm clock until the number light goes off (1 or 2 times, depending on whether it is set to beep or radio alarm). When the number is not lit up, the alarm is off.
You will need to reset the Clock/Radio's microprocessor. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio and remove the internal battery (CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio set without any power source for at least 2 hours. Then put the internal battery back in the Clock/Radio and plug it in to the a/c outlet. Test to see if the Clock/Radio functions have returned to normal. If the function have not returned to normal, you will need to replace the internal battery. Then let the Clock/Radio again set with out power for a period of at least 2 hours. after a 2 hour period, put the new battery in the Clock/Radio and Plug it into the a/c outlet. Test the functions to see if the microprocessor has reset to normal operation. If you are still having a problem with the Clock/Radio's operations , you will have to give the Emerson customer support a call. The Telephone number for the Customer support is 1-800-898-9020. You can call them between the hours of 7am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance with your problem. You will find all the instructions for setting the alarm. If you are still having problems with setting the alarm.
