Wrong date on inherited E Howard & Co Radio controlled watch

I inherited my fathers Radio Controlled watch. Watch works great, but is one day ahead. Should be 12/8/08, display has 12/9/08.

It came with no instructions other than a note from Dad. I would ask him but he passed away.

It has the correct time, I just wish it displayed the correct day.

Thanks for any insight.

Yours,

Blair Thomas

Can you send me instructions on how to set the time and date on my boss's E. Howard & Co. accurate radio controlled watch? Thanks!

the maker claims setting to be automatic!

The signals for Casio watches are sent out during the night, so I would assume that your watch will be the same.

Do nothing and wait till tommorow!

If nothing happens, then go to http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/manuals.php and select the manual from the list.

I have a E. Howard Accurate Radio Controlled Time & Date watch and it has the wrong time. I would like to set it but I do not have the instruction.

Try the site below for instructions. However, after resetting my watch, with the same problem, it still is running 2 minutes slow.

Had new battery installed in Howard wrist watch, cannot get the correct time. The date is correct.

You don't say which model you have but if it is a radio controlled watch, then try re-setting the location, it frobably "forgot" where it is and wen back to the original factory setting.

I live 20 miles, south of Seattle, WA. Please give me hints, how I can receive Radio signal, for my E. Howard, E23GA, Atomic watch. I haven't been getting daily signals. Thank you, Dave Harvey,

Place the watch near a window that faces Colorado. best reception is at night although you should get a signal during the day where you are. The signal comes from a transmitter in Colorado. Also, make sure your watch is a model with the US frequency as there are different frequencies used in other parts of the world. Read more at http://www.ntp-time-server.com/atomic-clock.htm.

Defective E. Howard & Co. radio-controlled watch

ok place watch on window ledge inside house ..when you go to bed make sure its sat on a book with nothing else in its way except the glass window, the signal should be picked up by your watch between midnite and 3am that is sent from one of 5 world wide beacons.if this does not work have battery refitted and make sure the repairer AC's the watch this has to be done any repairer will know what you mean..

Instructions for a mens FESTINA Watch 16095

Alhamdulillah, the problem solved (at last) tks to IRONMAN (http://www.fixya.com/support/t579677-instructions_mens_festina_watch_16095#SameProblemContinued)

The steps are like this :
1. Pull the crown full, and turn it clockwise until you find the right day.
2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

and voila... the problem solve

Adjust the date and day on a festina 3 dial watch

I've just worked it out! Change month....depress inset button on side above hand winder. One push with cocktail stick or similar will advance month. Change date.....pull out hand winder half way, turn knob anti-clockwise until desired number is met. Change day...... pull out hand winder fully, turn clockwise passing midnight repeatedly until day is set, continue to set time, keeping an eye on 24 hour display for am/pm.
All the best, Bob
