Speed on vsx 7000 appears stuck at 64k

We have a VSX7000 we use behind an Avaya G3r. No matter how I have the settings on the video unit, it will only run at 64k. It appears all my lines are up (there are 4) and operational just like always. I made a test call to one of our sites over a PRI and to another over a point to point T1 and the result was the same. Any help is appreciated.

We have the same problem, except i cannot dial out at all. any suggestions??? i have already found a synchronization source issue on the Avaya PBX involved, but still can only receive incoming calls?

  • joeyjones May 11, 2010

Unfortunately, I come from a network engineering background and am being baptized in fire as I learn the PBX's at mach 10 30,000ft.

Do you perhaps have sanatized configuration examples for the 8710's or G3R?

Thank you for your time and efforts.

My videocon tv having automatically av/tv switching problem what is its solution

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Videocon TV model No. CTVVBN14MGF-CNA goes in stand by mode after 5 minutes. Please suggest me a solution.

There should be some loose solder terminals at its main power regulator section. Resolder all the suspected solder terminals there, by applying a little more solder. Check the solder terminals at the horizontal output stage too. The fault is with loose solder terminals itself.

Polycom VSX7000, do you have to suscribe to Polycom to get anything on screen. I get a bootup sound, but that is it.

No, you do not need to subscribe. Are you sure your a/v cables are connected properly? You might also check on your video source and make sure you are in the correct source.

You need to go into the audio settings via

and make sure Enable Polycom Microphone is checked off.
Reboot and see if your microphone is recognized.

Can not able to dial out any number from Polycom VSX 7000.

Check out the following things:-

1. When dialing a ISDN number, be sure that the call preference has not been set to IP H.323 on the home screen just below the dialing field.

2. Check with your service provider that outwards dialling have been enabled on the lines provided to you.

Can't get to the home screen

I've just solved that problem in the VSX 7000 of my girlfriend's Job.

Your VSX7000 has at least 4 video outputs, 1 for VGA and Supervideo 1 and Supervideo 2.

Firstly you should try VGA connector, because the main menu may be there, so you could change the configuracion.

If you can't see main screen in any of the output connectors you'll have to use the http tool.

In your internet browser enter the camera IP address, and you'll get the Web Interface of the VSX7000.

It will prompt you for user & password, the default options are "Admin" and your VSX7000 serial number (14 digits) you can find this number under the camera.

Once you're in the Web Main Menu, click on Site Map. There you can choose what you want to see in the screen of Monitor1 (My menus are in Spanish, maybe your menu says something like "screens" but I'm sure you'll find it)

If you choose Monitor/Screen 1 as Svideo, and select it as output for Local, Remote and Content you should see the Main Menu after the VSX7000 Reboots.

I hope it would be useful for you, if you have any problem with this let me know... This VSX7000 is working fine now, so yours should work!
