I would try flashing the kernel separately via fastboot and seeing if that helps

When you are in Chat, tap the Menu button and then tap Go Online.
This will make you appear 'online' for chatting.

Hard reset is recommend,By turn ur device off>hold volume up&down,including sleep/wake button>volume up>volume up,.and wait till the processing complete........plz vote

You may have an overheating problem.

First, remove the back of your phone and remove and reinsert the battery.

If still a problem, return and replace your phone, since the phone is still under warranty and you have not had success with this phone.

The easiest way to solve the issue, regardless of the phone type, is to either reset all settings, or to reset the phone to factory defaults. For the second option, you will definitely need a backup that you can add afterwards to retrieve your contacts, mail and calendar settings etc.
You may also investigate your internet settings and reset those to re-establish the network connection, preferably somewhere near the router to ensure a strong connection for which you need to know the name and password.

the phone needs to be reflashed, the OS is messed up.. call tmobile for any instruccions, if it cant be fixed i would advice an exchange

Try hard reset with phone in "OFF" state following this instructions if it will do;

1. Press and hold the TALK and END buttons, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button under the battery cover at the top
of the device.
