At work we have a HP Officejet Pro L7680 All-in-one printer. We are a sign company and do alot of proofs for customers which we put on a CD for them to take with them. Since we don't want anybody using our designs, we were wanting to print our logo directly onto the CD. Is there any way of doing that?? If there is not a way to print DIRECTLY onto the CD, then how do we set up the printer to print on the CD/DVD labels??? Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
Thanks!!

The HP88 printhead can dry out and cause clogging in the black part of the K/Y (black/yellow) printhead.
This has been a major problem for a few client schools of mine and for me in my attic space where air conditioning and/or hot dry air causes clogging.
You may want to consider purchasing a new printhead and an alternative black ink supplier (non HP) that uses Dyebase ink instead of pigment as this doesn't clog in the same conditions.
However, please note that if you do this it means you may lose your warranty (certainly on the printhead) and the printout won't be as clear for text as the black ink can "bleed" slightly into other colours. It has however solve the problem of clogging in one school that went through 5 printheads in two terms/semesters until we switched.

To solve this problem, you need to set the mirror image to 'off' under the advanced tab of the printing defaults and under the advanced tab of the printing preferences buttons. We had this problem for some time and since doing the above this has stopped.

There is a workaround for this problem by tricking the printer.
The paper sensor, on my printer model hp4500 seems to only sense the paper at the beggining of the print job.
What I did to trick the printer to print on odd size paper is slide the paper adjuster to 8.5 and put a regular white sheet in. Then put your odd size paper under it. When you print your document set the number of copies to 2 and print.
The printer is going to sense that the paper is correct, and start the job.
Here is the tricky part... once the first 8.5x11 sheet is almost all the way through quickly slide the paper adjuster over to match the size of your odd width paper. The printer should pick up the odd paper and print the second copy. Fool you printa! You should be able to do batches of odd paper size under the first 8.5X11.
I hope this helps.

if the ink level is more than half then try to clean the cartridges and the contacts on the printer with a lint free cloth and from printer options as well..
on printer..
press setup button > go to tools > try to clean cart / align the cart and then try to print..
if it doesnt help try with another set of cart.
