I.AUTO button on JVC GZ-HM650 does not switch camcorder in manual mode

According to the manual, the i.Auto button on the camcorder should toggle the mode between manual and i.A. This doesn't seem to happen on mine. Pressing the i.AUTO button when the camera in in i.AUTO mode has no effect; hence I'm unable to get the camcorder into manual mode.

SOURCE: safegaurd mode

Unfortunately this is a repair issue. There are several failures that can occur, none of which will be resolved without service, that create this safeguard situation. Often the fpc cable which carries sensor information to the micro has been injured and that requires repair. Good luck, magic seadog

JVC camcorder won't work inside at night anymore.

check the following in camera mode and the auto/manual switch set to manual:
exposure: set to auto shutter: set to auto or off agc: auto white balance: auto program ae: off gain up: auto display/bright: +1-+3
after all that, hit the auto/manual switch again to set the camera into auto mode, the new settings should sort you out.

When I try to ''zoom'' in and out it only ''focuses'' in and out.

Focus motor stuck, usualy it happens after impact. Some TV repair shops can fix that. JVC will replace whole lense assy but it possible to repair.

CAMCORDER IS BLURRY IN AUTO AND MANUAL MODES IN ALL ENVIROMENTS

The camera is less than a month old and this sounds like a s/ware issue within the camera.
take it back to the shop where you purchased it.
You should be able to do a straight swap.
hope this helps.

How to get rid of auto mode on JVC GZ MC200??

Look for a button marked MENU on the camera, push it, and see what the options are. One of them should be to switch to manual. Otherwise, consult the manual (or manufacturers website) for more info.
