I've done everything i could find online, yet still no power.
You will need a new internal power suppy sounds like to find your model simple google your ps3 model number with power supply and that should bring it up
Sounds like RLOD.There is a whole industry set around to fixing this problem relatively cheaply as Sony refuse to recognise its a fault with the console.Sony will fix it if its out of warranty but for what they charge you could buy a second hand console with games cheaper. There are plenty of reputable places will fix it for around 50-70 euro's.

SOURCE: Ps3 shutdown?
hi..Seems like your Power Supply went dead or either a faulty button..
Since those are touch pads those sometimes wear out. Another issue
could be due to overheating..
thank u

SOURCE: Console powered down while in use and won't power up.

With your PS3 turned off, press and hold the Power button on the front of the PS3 for about 10 seconds (the system will beep as normal as it starts up but after 7-10 seconds it will beep again). The video settings should now be reverted. Doing this will also reset any theme settings. try this? seems to fix alot of issues.
The Kinect Sensor has insufficient power (C0051202)
Here's what to do to fix the problem:
Solution 1: Update your console software
Update Required: An update has been found, to apply this update you must restart your console.

ok, so i want to make it clear, this is not a overheating issue. it would have to turn on for that to be the problem. a faulty button might be the issue, but i'm guessing theres no way of telling without opening up the case, right? as for any airflow issues... it would have to turn on to know this, i'm sure.
