You can remove your bios password by reseting your CMOS battery or jamper. You need to open your notebook remove first the battery and all screw at the back of your notebook. You can see there a CMOS battery together with the CMOS jamper. Just read it you can read CLRSCR which means clear cmos, just pull it with in 10 seconds and insert it back. Now you are done to reset bios.

wrong battery for it or connectoers on battery dirty could be the charger for the battery is bad and shorted battery out

I hope you got this issue resolved,I was unable to find anything else that would explain the issue or the fix.

You can insert the OS installation CD and hit F11 or F12 to get to the boot menu. The you can wipe out your hard drive and put a fresh copy of windows on it.

1. Check the socket u pluged it in
2. have the charger tested for continuity.
