Bit of a long shot, but I once had a machine with a crack at the root of one of the spokes on the big pulley wheel on the end of the drum - made a nasty noise once every turn as the belt tension came on and off that spoke. Good indicator of this would be if you can make the squeak happen when you turn the drum by hand, but this stops when you take the drive belt off. If the noise is still there with the belt off, try removing the hose that leads from the base of the drum to the pump and use the hole that leaves to try and find if anything (stray bra wire?) has got stuck between inner and fixed drums. Check for the same thing between the front edge of the drum and the back of the door seal. On some machines, you can also get a little access where the condenser plugs into the back of the drum. Finally, give the pulley wheel a good shoogle up/down, left/right and back & forth to check the bearings are OK (another long shot). A

My dryer will run and dry clothes but as soon as the drum starts to turn it has a constant squeeling noise ( not a squeek like the wheels would cause) what is my problem and how can I fix it?

some dryers has a center bearing on the rear of the drum, once this bearing dries out it will make noise along as the drum turns.

I have a 5 yr old KitchenAid front load dry that just started to make loud squeaking sound when running or even if I turn the drum when the dry is off. Drys clothing good, just making noise and want to...

You will need to check the tub roller wheels. This is a common noise when the wheel bearings start to ware down. They are not expensive, and you should be able to do this yourself. Good Luck Friend.

Squeeking noise in rear of drum roller MDE9306AYA

the drum is riding on 2 weels on the back they usualy get bad after 4-5years also there is a seal around the drum that make it turn smuthly on the back wall, they need to be change.
it is like maintanance to your machine that should be done every 4-5 years and by the way check the belt also it might be dry by now

Squeeking while dryer is drying

i would suggest calling the repiar. The longer you wait the more expensive this will be. One of two things is happening. One, bearing is going out, or most likely the belt is slipping on the drum and needs replacement. Good luck

Squeeky dryer

Typically what happens is over time the back drum supports wear out. Once they have worn thin the drum rides on the bare metal portion of the support and you get the "annoying" speek sound. Or if the supports are the roller bearing type, the bearing fails and it generates the noise.
Anyway, the supports or rollers are inexpensive to replace and not very difficult.
If you want to tackle the problem, let me know.
Good luck.

In the rinse cycle the washer is making a squeeking noise

check whether there is something inside the washing drum ..

by mistake some thing might have fallen inside..

else the bearings would have worn out making the squeeking noise..

Squeeling noise

It could be just a dry belt and pulley. You could try the old squeeking car fan belt trick and rub soap on the belt. You can even buy sticks of anti-squeek from automobile outlets.
