I have changed batterys in these watches but i can only describe the process from memory which may be faulty. You may or may not have to remove the strap depending on whether it covers any of the case back. Unscrew all screws on back and remove. I believe these watches have a triangular spring loaded plate over the battery which needs to be slid out to (bit tricky) note which way up battery is. Replace battery 2032 i think replace cover short AC or AR with +ve replace seal, back, screws etc. this is a link to manual for confirmation http://www.devicemanuals.com/guide/Watch%20and%20Clock/Polar/Polar-F4-User's-Manual-==TVRFM09URXg=.html

No. all the solid rubber straps are sealed in batteries. Only the T-31 wealink has a replaceable battery. The T-31 will work with your S-150 watch. If you need a replacement because yours has stopped working then that is an option. It's about $10- more.

The battery for Polar CE0537 is both a DL2025 or a CR2025. You can get them at Radio Shack, CVS, Home Depot or any other place that sells button batteries. To do it yourself, you need to have the right tools (small wire paper clip, very small Phillips head screw driver) and be comfortable with the concept of taking a watch apart. Use the wire paper clip to insert into the small holes where the straps meet the timepiece. When you do this you are compressing the spring-loaded pins that hold the straps to the timepiece. Once the straps are off, carefully remove the four screws at the four corners of the metal plate on the underside of the timepiece. Lift off the metal plate carefully. In side you will see the button battery being held in place by a flat strip of metal. That flat strip needs to be lifted off. At one end of the strip, the strip is narrow and bends down into the back of the timepiece. The other end is a little wider and has a very small prong that you can gently push towards the center of the battery (away from the edge to the timepiece), and the metal strip will come off. Switch out the battery being sure that the letters and numbers identifying the battery are face up. Replace the metal strip. Replace the metal plate. Replace the screws. The strap piece with the buckle inserts into the edge of the timepiece where the Polar name is printed. The strap piece with the center holes inserts into the edge of the timepiece with the silver colored button. You will need dexterity and patience to compress the spring-loaded pins and maneuver the straps into position. Finally you have to reset the time. Push the silver button until the TIME appears and then wait. You will then have the option to enter the time format (24 or 12), the hour, the minutes, the day of the month. Once you see want you want entered, wait, and then the watch will ask OK? Press the silver button when you see OK. Good luck!

My wife asked me to set the time on her watch. She no longer has a manual. Can you help? It is a polar CE0537 Polar Electro and has two side buttons but no button in front. Thank you.

There is a link to download any Polar manual in PDF form in my tips and tricks page.

Are you sure there is no button in front? Polar watches are all activated for exercise recording by a front button. And if it is an A5 as the request and picture show there is definitely a front button.

On the back of the unit, near the upper portion of the backing will be the model number it will be a letter/ number code like A5, M32, etc... The CE0537 is a different coding than the model itself. You will need the model number for the correct manual.

I am trying to figure out how to shorten the wrist band on my Casio Edifice EFA-119.

mcdevito75 here, If your Casio has a metal band, you can remove 1--2 links, this takes a special tool called a link remover, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area. If your Casio has a strap, the buckle may be able to move up the strap to fit your wrist, if so, move the buckle up the strap to fit your wrist and cut offf the exccess strap. If not, you"ll have to replace the entire strap. Hope this helps.

Is it worth trying to replace battery of my heart rate monitor

You certainly have had good service out of the battery. It is best left to a watch repairer to replace the battery.
