My ge model number 28111EE2-A cordless phone currently says "do not disturb". I do not know how it got that way and I can not turn it off.

Press the [do not disturb] button on the base unit.

I have a GE Cordless phone model #27909 dect. 6.0 i can hear people talking to me, but they can not hear me....what is the problem?

that is probably your mouthpiece, it is located on the lower end of your handset and you have to open unit first to have it replaced. you could check that it has contact and nothing is blocking it before replacement.

I have a Ge cordless phone model # 28111ee2-a. for some reason the light goes on when receiving a call but the phone does not ring. The ringer is on but still i can't hear a ring. any ideas what how to fix...

What worked for me was disconnecting both wire from base and ensuring languages are the same on base and phones. Hopefully this will help you also.

I had the same problem, and restoring to default settings did not seem to work either. I just opened the back, unplugged the battery, plugged it back in, and now it works again.

Can not get rid of "do no disturb"

Just a shot in the dark (as I'm not familiar with your particular phone), but have you removed the battery for a minute and re installed? The settings should revert to default, enabling the ringer again.

No incoming ring

For GE 6.0: There is a button on the base lower right corner (NOT the phone), you need to press it once again to turn off Do Not Disturb

For GE 5.8 GHz: 1. Pick up the phone handset and dial *98.
2. Press 2 to disable Do Not Disturb.
3. Once you hear the confirmation that Do Not Disturb has been disabled, you may hang up the phone handset.

There is a do not disturb button on the base of your phone - if it's red it's on. Press it to turn it off. It is on the main base and works for both headsets.

I own the GE DECT 6.0 phone set, Model 28111EE2-A. The battery is 3SN-AAA55H-S-J1, 3.6V 550mAh, 5-2721. I am having great difficulty finding a source for the battery. Do you know where I can go to get this battery. I've searched the internet, and what I think is the proper battery, does not look the same as what I have, i.e., rubber wrap contains two batteries vs. three batteries. Thanks, Mary Ellen
