Have a kenmore he4 front load gas dryer. It would go completely dead like it had no power... intermittedly working... we replaced the control board. Seems to come on fine now (only been 2 days since replacement) however the end of cycle signal will come on during the drying time and beep up and down the high, med and low lights on the panel... then eventually stop... dryer still going? What needs to be replaced now? Suggestions please?
Is the dryer sensing strips clean? Could be some dryer sheet goopus on them causing intermittent sensing to clothes?

I have the same indications. It power up intermittently with the check lint LED lit. The manual said it will (lintLED) turn off when the start button is press but only gives me a beep when I press start. Lint LED only turn off when I open door. The dryer will function normally. I disassembled lint assemby and clean it thoroughly, including moisture sensor. I run a diagnostics, all LED lit with 88 displayed on panel. The second 8 flash with a continous beep. I check the power cord and removed panel but have not done a continuity check. The dryer is working now.

I had the same problem and eventually none of the cycle buttons light up or the cycle time display. So it would not run at all. After taking it apart once and fiddling with the cycle push buttons, it worked for one load then would not work again. I could see 3 of the led faintly illuminated and unplugging and plugging back in the power changed nothing. Then I removed the plastic ring of cycle buttons that is between the panel circuit board and the outer plastic. (There a several layers to get to the ring.) Now I use a long allen wrench to push on the switch on the circuit board. I left the middle start button in place. That does not seem to cause a problem. Several loads now and still working. So it looks like the ring on plastic buttons don't release from the circuit board buttons causing a problem.
