Owners manual I purchased a floor display model from Sears and they did not have the owners manual. Can I have one sent to me ? They were also unable to lacate the remote for this model.

You have a brand new unit off the floor. You do not have component failure problems.

You purchased a floor model. Floor models are set in the; "Demo Mode". In this mode your unit will not cool. Taking a unit out of the demo mode depends on the model. You need to contact your place of purchase to determine what buttons you need to press to get the unit out of the demo mode.

The people who deliver the units for Sears are contractors. Physical contract laborers. Most can not speak English.

I should know, I am a former Sears Home Service refrigeration/ A&E factory Service technician; all under the same umbrella. I have heard all the complaints about Sears deliveries.

I wasn't able to find the manual for the Kenmore model, however I did find the instruction manual for the corresponding Panasonic canister vacuum cleaner. Your particular Kenmore model is actually made by Panasonic for Sears, and then Sears puts the Kenmore name on the vacuum cleaner. They are identical internally, and have the same parts and components, besides the filter that is behind the bag. Sears makes Panasonic put a specially designed filter in the Kenmore's so that the customer has to go back and purchase that filter from Sears.

Harmon Kardon AVR340 just has no sound and it doesn't pass the video through. Looks normal when on. ( Display shows everything is on)

I have found a couple of sites where you can download the owners manual for a fee of $9.99 but I have been unable to find a site where it is free. Hitachi web site does have several owner manuals but do not have the one for this tv. My owners manual is a photo copy of the original manual. I got mine by calling Hitachi (1-800-448-2244) shortly after purchasing the TV, it was a display model and did not come with one. I have just bought my second remote, first one when I got the owners manual and second one just a couple of weeks ago through sears parts. Once I get a scanner hooked up I will try to upload my manual to this site.
