I downloaded this full game from xbox live. It worked fine for the first few days I had it, but then all of a sudden the screen started going black whenever I pressed "Continue" on the start menu. This doesn't happen with any other games. I've waited to see if the game was just loading but 20 minutes later, the screen is still black. What gives?
Check for game updates and if they don't help then u should
delete and reinstall the game

Once I start the game and calibrate it to recoginize me, it won't let me go any further than the screen where you are supposed to touch the blue wall. No matter how I touch it the game won't recognize it. I am 5'3. I had my son try, he is 5'10. Nothing we try lets us move further in the game. Is there a fix for this or did we just waste our money?

You probably jumped during your workout which makes the xbox "shake" causing the disk to rub against the drive, it's a known issue for years. Get the disc replaced.

That may be an issue, this may still work but you will not be able to maximize its potential. You should be 6 feet away from the unit and play area of 6 feet wide. Make sure that the unit can view the ground up, the Kinect unit should be at the middle of the tv and not beyond or below it. Do not wedge it anywhere as its lenses do move and changes focus. Other than that you would need to use the Kinect tuner.
The lighting may also affect the visual sensors of the unit.
