SOURCE: My Homelite Mighty Lite 26b

Homelite wants to sell you a new carburetor assembly. Your blower came equipped with a RuiXing brand carb. RuiXing does not offer any repair parts for their carbs, only replacement units.
Now for the good news....a Zama brand primer bulb fits perfectly on the RuiXing carbs. Check with your local small engine repair shop for a Zama primer bulb. The blower requires removal af the carb to get at both of the screws that hold on the bulb. It is not difficult, just one nut holds on the outer airbox cover...don't lose the little washers. Then one long stud and one short screw will take the carb off. Replace the primer bulb and reinstall everything the same way it came off.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Homelite bandit bx 90,

On the bandit, you are safe with a 40:1 ratio. In other words 8oz. of oil to 2.5 gallons of fuel.

Model 26b wont start. the fuel bulb is not filling up when pushed

Some ideas on what I think is a HomeLite 26B Blower although this info will apply to any 2cycle.
1- a cracked/leaking primer bulb. Most likely
2- a broken/cracked fuel line in the tank.
3- the fuel filter. Least likely
Easier to check is the bulb. If you check the line and filter and find either one bad replace both. You'll thank me later.

I have recently obtained a Homelite "zip start" trim n edge string trimmer. What fuel mixture is recommended for it?

Modern Homelite equipment uses a 50;1 fuel mixture. That is 2.6 ounces of 2 cycle mix to 1 gallon (U.S.) of gasoline. I highly recommend to use a quality 2 cycle oil that is designed for lawn equipment. I also recommend to use a mix that contains fuel stabilizer. This will usually be in a 3.2 ounce bottle.
Always use fresh fuel, it prevents problems in your equipment.

Good luck!
