Nokia 6500 slide text problems

First of all try to check the message center number in your message setting as well as the format should be text,if it is pages change it to text.If not solved restore the phone by typing *#7789# or go to setting and factory setting., select restore only.Again itf the problem still persist contact sim card customer care.Good luck

Remove your SIM card and try it on other hand-set or mobile and see whether it happen again or not?
If it work on other hand-set or mobile then reset (restore factories) from your hand-set.

when phones save messages in their outbox, its because the cannot send the message at that time. some reasons include insufficient airtime, or incorrect message settings. i doubt if it would be the insufficient airtime, because i expect you would have checked that. if its a newly acquired phone, you have just put in a new sim card or you used it outside of your region recently, its probably the message settings. when you open your message folder, go to options and check for settings, check for text message/ general settings, there is an option known as message center number, compare it with that of someone using the same communications company as you and not having that same problem. if it is different, change yours. this should do it, if it doesn't, call the customer service support center of your operator

mot nokia cellphones have problems like that. fluctuating signal from the cell site to your cellphone maybe the cause of this problem. try resending it again by putting it into the draft section of your phone and try to resend it.

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

All you have to do is go to your message setting on your phone:
1. Open Messaging
2. On New message sellect options at bottom
3. Open settings
4. Open Text message, you should see: Message centre, message centre in use ect..
5. Open message centres this should go to next screen then open again, this screen should have : Message centre name & Message centre number (from your network provider you need to find out what is the message centres name & number are e.g in Australia it should be SMSC1 and number is +61411990001) then just manually enter these in there.

try formatting your phone enter this code *#7780# then after that try sending msg again hope this will help you

wen i text any msg it doesn go it says messga send failed and resend from outbox and when i go to outbox and send it from there it says the same thing i need helpp pleasee anyone?

I had this same problem. Deleting and clicking "yes" at the warning screen would not remove the message from my outbox and the message kept resending for days.

Solution: In the Outbox, click "Menu" > Empty Deleted Items. Click "yes" at the warning. The message should now be gone from your outbox and your text buddy should now be able to regain sanity.

T-mobile credited back the resent text messages when I called them.
