I have a cyberhome ch-300 and one day my husband decided to mess with it but not i can hear the movies but i cant see them. I can't program it either because the only thing you see on the tv is black. I dont have the instrution book niether. I thing it could be that he changed the output signal but how can i change it without seeing nothing. Please help me. Thanks
Remove any disc which may be in the player. Make sure that the player is "on" (green light is "on" at front of player). Hold the "stop" button for at least 5 seconds (square symbol on the player is the "stop" button). This will reset the player to the most basic of video settings. The yellow "video" jack at the back is the basic output for video. The red and white jacks are the basic sound outputs (right and left if in stereo). Good luck.

My husband got on the internet and someone else was having another problem and we tried their solution and it worked. Thank you for the help . The Solution was to hold the stop button for twenty seconds and it worked.
When I had this issue it was resolved by selecting the video input on the TV. For example: "S" video, RGB, etc.
And of course check all of the connections.
You might want to reset to factory defaults, but there is an error in the manual. In order to reset to factory defaults, turn on (with no disc inside), DO NOT OPEN THE DISC TRAY, just press the stop button on the player for 5 seconds.
The DVD player at the back as the diff o/t for the Prgressive scan.
Plug the cables to that nd the click on setup, where you can hardly see.. move to the 2nd option and select scan
