Have a 2007 yamaha FX HO Cruiser waverunner. Was riding when oil light and alarm came on and ski shut off. Husband checke oil and it was 1 & 1/2 qts low. When we restarted, it was louder than normal and wouldn't idle. He would accelerate but when letting off gas it dies. He changed all plugs because he overfilled with oil and he also cleaned the air filter bc it was full of oil. When restarted it smokes and still dies at idle and is only running at 1/2 throttle. He said it seems like it is losing power and doesn't accelerate very well or not as good as our other ( we have 2 identical skis). It is in l-mode but we just got these and are unsure of what L-mode means. Help!
L stands for limp mode
it is a mode that the ECM selects to prevent serious damage to the engine ( from you lack of oil )
have the fault codes read then reset with the scan tool

I have a Yamaha fx 1100 that starts real slowly the battery is fully charged but the bike sounds like its not got alot of power going to the starter can anyone help solve this also battery terminals are clean and not corroded
