Generally paper is stuck either in the middle section or at the back near the fuser. Remove Toner cartridge and open rear door, if it's stuck coming out of the fuser, pull paper through from the back. Make sure to let the machine cool down first as the fuser is very hot. Remove any small pieces of paper from the front if before the fuser.

Most probably you took one of the paper sensors out of place. Any printer technician can happily put it back.
SOURCE: Samsung ML-2510 paper feed problem - taking page up and in
I just finished fixing my ml-2510 with the identical problem. you can take the pick up rubber and its housing off without removing the shaft. after taking off the front panel and taking out the upper paper tray and the toner you have lots of room to get your hands in there (make sure it's unplugged before you start). two plastic side supports hold the rubber housing in. lift the tab on one and slide it to the side. the housing will now come out . take note of the positioning of all these parts before taking them apart. I sometimes use a digital camera for this purpose. the housing snaps apart and the rubber band slides off. I turned it inside out and put everything back together. works great now (for another year I hope). It's not difficult, it took me about 30 minutes, but be gentle with these plastic parts. I needed a small flat head screw driver and a good lamp. the easiest way is to stand the printer up on its back and reach down inside the hole with the lamp set up over top. good luck.hope this helps.
SOURCE: Canon MP970 how to remove print head to clear
Make sure the unit is powered off before continuing.
On the right hand side of the print head holder - just to the right of the print cartridges is a lever. If you raise this lever the print head can be removed. When you have cleaned off the debris carefully replace the head and then lock the lever in position. Then run nozzle check, cleaning cycle then a head alignment process before printing again.

There's a trap door in back, remove it and easily access the paper jam- credit for this answer goes to my very wise husband.
SOURCE: Paper got stuck in my
Hi Thanks Rylee
Thanks for using FixYa. First,
verify that there is actually no paper jam (open all the doors, take out the
paper tray, take out the cartridges and visually inspect). Turn printer off and
unplug the printer from all cables (power, USB, etc). Try to hold it upside
down and gently shake it so that if there is any paper inside it's removed. If still
it's not resolved then clean the print head. To clean the print head take a hot
water towel with the printer unplugged and the cartridges out, clean it till the
time you see there is no ink residue on the towel. Please accept the
solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
