This tablet does t reset with the power button unlike other Android devices. When you hold down the on/off switch, it only drains the battery. If you see the color indicator still charging, allow a full charge. Then, only stay put and pulse the button for a moment quick and let it rest few seconds to try again and again. Only when u see a light coming out of the screen, and I recommend you do this with the power cord on, you hold the power switch down until the rebooting is iniciated. Let go til it is finish and see where the problem is. More likely, like mine, the Settings stop working and needs tune up for the CPU. Never leave an application running when closing your system. With or without internet connection.
Hi, I think I may be able to help you. So the same prob;e came with my childpad. Just remember as long as it does not work have the password with you. Because my works now but I forgot the password. So I opened the back blue thing. And then I figured that the charging thing was to loose. So, I just have to make it so that the charger won't come out, so some how my dad make it tighter. But I think that might be the problem with yours as well. If you have a solution to my problem (forgot password) please email me at [email protected]Thanks!! And I hope it helped in some way :)

Every tablet has a button sequence, the reason being for a fresh restart. Either you unplugged it before full recharge, or didn't use proper charging adapter or cable. There is a solution to avoiding this but first get tablet started by: Hold power button and volume up button for eight seconds, release and hold power button again, tablet should turn on. If not, do the opposite hold power button, volume down for eight seconds, then power button. You need to do this with proper adapter and charger you tablet came with plugged in. You may also need to do this more than once. Once your tablet has started up, the way to avoid this is to swipe right on screen until you see settings app, should be round looking similar to a sprocket, or clock gear. Open settings / display / sleep. I set mine for 30 mins. Now you no longer need to power off you tablet manually, thus skipping the button sequence process. After unplugging from charge adapter you will still need to press power button to start. Hope this helps I have yet to have this problem again, and remember to always let your tablet fully charge before disconnecting.
Ifthe laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall.
ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.
It sounds like your in sleep mode. Hold the power button till the display says power off and tap the power off on the display, the charging light will come on and the charging light will change color when it is fully charged.
