When i put on the ear phones there is no sound only a little background static. have tried to replace ear phones twice but still have same problem

if you have already tried different ear phones and if it didn't work then for sure the issue is with the device.I hope those ear phones you tried are working in other audio devices.just try to connect it to a external speaker like computer speakers to see the fault is really with the device and not the ear phones
before assming it as an hardware issue just try to back up whatever you have in the device format the device upgrade the firmware of the device you can do it by clicking here..try hearing the FM radio before going to songs from the computer if the FM radio works fine then try some MP3 format songs you stored in the device from computer..if still you have the same issue.. take it to the sansa repair service center with the bill so that they can help you out..
hope this was helpfull

MP3 player suddenly not connecting

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Coby's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Samsung yp t9j Media Player (2 GB)

This mp3 player and many others do not play or do anything on screen besides charge WHILE it is connected to the computer. You can transfer songs to the player while it is connected to the PC. After it is disconnected, then you can play songs.

Delete songs on my mp3 player

there doesnt appear to be a way other than plugging it into the computer and deleting that way. You delete it like you would any other file on an external storage device

This usually happens when your headphones get old. Try getting a new pair and it should work fine!

Annoying Songs!!!!

Try the USB connection. Shut down the Yepp, press and hold the "back arrow" button, plug it in the USB (with the arrow button still pressed). After a few secons your system will recognize the Yepp as a USB disk, so you can go to the folders and delete all the junk.
