On the cd provides is the program NP Navigator. This is the software for scanning. Its simple to use. You don't need to program the MX at all as its all done through MP Navigator.

reboot both pc and printer, you reinstalled printer drivers?, try restarting your print spooler service, try on another machine to confirm where the problem is with pc or printer.
For me on my Cannon MX410 with a "paper Jam" light displayed this WORKED!! The absolute BIZZARE thing was after I went and through the described procedure above and rebooted and tried to print the 1st page that came out had a "crushed" ****-roach on the 1st page! So I didn't have a paper jam,...but a ROACH Jam. :) I told my wife, Humm pest service not workin I guess! It errored out again, but simply unpluggingUSB and power cord (not the steps described for the Print Spooler) it prints fine. SO saved me buying a new printer which was just 6 mos. OLD and FINE by me! So THX, Vikram Kumar Thumu!
On the print window, click on preferences. Click the Main tab at the top, then click the arrow for the drop down menu next to Media Type. At the bottom is Other Papers. Click there, and you'll find T-Shirt Transfers where you can print in reverse. Don't forget to switch back!
