Trouble playing store bought cd's

Hello I am having trouble with the Lenoxx Sound Compact Disc Player(am/fm stereo cassettee recorder) The model is BP102. When I put a recently purchased Cd in to play it and i press play, the screen shows a "no cd" and it wont play? This has happened twice now with two different cds from two different places? Is it just a problem with the cds or the player? Funny enough, when I play them in the car stereo or my sons player they work fine?

Sony compact disc player initializing

Have you tried pressing hte RESET switch?? It's behind the removeable front of the stereo, use a biro or something and hold it in for a bit.

Failing that, check that there isn't a CD already in it, could be a dodgy CD?
