The steamer is not building up enough pressure to make steam. I decalcify regularly and did last week. It hisses a second or 2 then nothing. The espresso machine has been making 4 doubles almost everyday for almost 10 years, so it just may be worn out, but if it can be fixed that's what we would prefer.

Hi
There`s probably an leakage from the steamblock, and the water flows over the contacts. This will short circuit the machine. Contact your dealer or nearest servicepartner and they will fix it with a new water connector.

Most likely problem is over temp cut out switch. Small diode attached to the boiler to prevent damage during boil dry, or fault in the heating element itself. Difficult machines to repair and best handled by a service technician.

I had the same problem. All you need to do is take the steam nozzle apart and clean it. I tip can be cleand with a neadle. Just make sure you unblock the little side holes and make sure to thoroughly clean the little hole in the front. Over time the milk builds up in the nozzle, clogging up the "steam holes", so the preassure gets too big and the rubber attachments can't hold it any longer. Hope that helps.

could you try back flushing it ?' must be possible ,as it sounds like the coffee grouts have got stuck in the water feed to coffee spouts so try a hose in the garden and try flushing it backwards through the spouts put finger on one and hose on the other and see what happens .
