The machine is not making steam.

The steamer is not building up enough pressure to make steam. I decalcify regularly and did last week. It hisses a second or 2 then nothing. The espresso machine has been making 4 doubles almost everyday for almost 10 years, so it just may be worn out, but if it can be fixed that's what we would prefer.

SOURCE: Jura Impressa S9 Steamer trips circuit breaker

Hi
There`s probably an leakage from the steamblock, and the water flows over the contacts. This will short circuit the machine. Contact your dealer or nearest servicepartner and they will fix it with a new water connector.

SOURCE: No steam on Capresso Impressa S8

Most likely problem is over temp cut out switch. Small diode attached to the boiler to prevent damage during boil dry, or fault in the heating element itself. Difficult machines to repair and best handled by a service technician.

SOURCE: frother builds up too much pressure and explodes off the machine

I had the same problem. All you need to do is take the steam nozzle apart and clean it. I tip can be cleand with a neadle. Just make sure you unblock the little side holes and make sure to thoroughly clean the little hole in the front. Over time the milk builds up in the nozzle, clogging up the "steam holes", so the preassure gets too big and the rubber attachments can't hold it any longer. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: Machine sat for 2 weeks (not plugged in).

could you try back flushing it ?' must be possible ,as it sounds like the coffee grouts have got stuck in the water feed to coffee spouts so try a hose in the garden and try flushing it backwards through the spouts put finger on one and hose on the other and see what happens .

My polti steam cleaner wont work when i click trigger

Check the wand and line for calcium build up especially in the nozzle. Hard water will deposit a lot of calcium in the system, which needs to be cleaned regularly to keep it running freely.

Delonghi Bar14FE Coffee Machine steamer wont stop spitting and hissing even when not in use

It should not be a big job. Open the top part, I had a similar issue it is probably either a blockage in the hoses or a disconnected hose. Just drain the machine and then go ahead with the your investigation.

Best of luck,

BTW: You only need a screwdriver to complete this task.

No steam pressure

Leave the valve open until it starts slowly hissing, then shut off valve and wait for the pressure to build up.

Why do I need to descal my steam cleaner?

Unless your machine has a seperate calcium filter or you only use it with distilled water, over a period of time the boiler will become less efficient and will take longer to heat to the required temperature as the impurities in the water build up inside the machine. Descaling, or decalcifying, your dry steam cleaner on a regular basis will not only maintain shorter heating times but will also extend the life of the machine.

Stuck on ventilate

Try this, open steam wand, if it calls for ventilate pusi in steam knob, if that works then the tap rod on the steam valve needs to be replaced. To me it sounds like the machine is building up pressure and the discharge is not releasing through the water circuit.

Old 1996 nuova simonelli mac digit no pressure or heat

There is a reset thermostat on the right side of the machine above the element, check to see if it tripped. If it did make sure there is enough water in the machine and when turning it on, open one of the steam valves and turn off the cup warmer. Leave the steam wand open until it hisses or small amounts of steam or air will vent out.

Milk froths at 1st then doesn't after 1 week

Ensure first that you are using the steam pipe in the correct way to froth the milk.

If it still does not work, that means that the steamer is not generating enough pressure steam.

This happens either because there is not enough heat, or if you release the steam when pressure is not enough.

If you think you are doing everything in the right way, then contact the company and insist for having the machine fixed or replaced.
