I have a Dell computer and I am trying to connect my HP psc 1210 all-in-one printer to it. I have a disc, but it does not seem to work. What shall I do?

Kindly unplug the printer from the system and also disconnect the printer from the wall socket, wait for 10 seconds - connect the printer to the power socket wait for the printer to get ready and then connect the printer to the system, it should fix it.

If above fails try the below step:
Could you please let me know what version of OS are you using Win 7 or Win 8. Generally, in both OS as soon as you connect the plug and play device they load the drivers automatically but if you are saying that it is giving you the Yellow exclamation, then I would suggest that if you have the drivers disc for the printer with you, install the drivers from the disc else leave the printer plugged into the system and perform windows updates, it should fix the issue.

the fuller version is not loaded.the fuller version consists of all the facilities the printer has. load that from the 1210 installation disc.it will work. not a problem.

Your problem seems like a driver issue. try to down load complete driver for windows vista and install it.

First off, I will try an uninstallation of the printer
Then reinstall all the drivers and software for the printer.

one of these updates causes a conflict more than likely a microsoft hotfix, try using a different usb port and unplug and plug printer back in
