The radio on my Blackberry Pearl 8100. The battery life is fully charged and I know about the on off radio icon in the menu. It just doesnt turn the radio on.

Hello, By default there is no radio inbuilt in blackberry 8100. Hence i am just providing the link of blackberry softwares where you can download loads of softwares just have a look and see if you can find any softwares for the radio. Click here to go to the website and download some of it.

Select SIM card 4) ID MEPD on next screen 5) ID MEP2 Type the unloack codeor key 6) Press Enter to finish unlocking After completing the steps please do Hard Reset 1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the Blackberry smartphone 2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds.

theres an icon that looks like an antenna called connections. click it and turn your network back on........but remember that the blackberry will turn the radio off when the battery gets too low but the device will still be on, just without the ability to call or txt.
so make sure you have a decent charge, click on the icon and select the voice network to turn it on.
Try removing the battery for about 20 seconds and then put it back in and restart the phone. This is a form of a hard reset but it will not erase anything.
Get some ipa [isopropanol] leave phone submerged in same for a few hours [with battery removed] then remove from ipa, leave for 24 - 48 hrs as long as you can and it should come back to life. All the components in your phone are waterproof so the ipa will eliminate the moisture and should make you happy again.
