In using the Epson DVD software program to make labels, I find that I can not get the text to auto size to a text box.
When I manually adjust the box, the text within the box gets cut off because it does not auto size.
This was not a problem with MediaFACE label maker, but this Epson is different.
There is in the 'text setting' feature a box to check that shows "Auto Size". I have used clicked on it, but the text still does not auto size when I position or re-adjust the box size.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi Joe
for most printers there should be a print cd label option in the Software that comes with the printer
install the Software and go to label settings >>CD label
Using the software that came with it modify the font settings.
Changing the Default Font Settings in DYMO Label Software
Answer 299 ' Applies To DYMO ' Published 07/20/2005 10:16 AM EDT ' Updated 08/31/2010 05:05 PM EDTHow do I change the default font settings in the DYMO Label Software (DLS)?
Font settings can be adjusted for individual label templates and for the DLS application. Please note, changing the font settings for the DLS application will only affect the creation of new label templates. It does not change the font settings of any previously created and saved label templates.
Changing the Default Font Settings for Individual Label Templates in DLS
Open DLS.
In DLS, click and highlight the text on the label template.
The tool bar above the label template allows you to change various font and justification settings. To change font type and font size you must click on the Font Settings icon:
Make the necessary changes to the font settings. The Sample field indicates how the text will appear on the label. Please note, the text will automatically shrink to fit if you select a font size that is too large for the address or text object on the label to accommodate.
Click OK after making the necessary changes.
Save the label template. Click on the File menu in DLS and select either Save or Save As. Selecting Save will save the label template with its existing name. Selecting Save As will allow you to enter a new name and create a new label template.
Just like you would any printer. You could use word but word by default is set for a 8.5x11 full size paper so it must be configuared under file, page setup. Your label size gets entered and margins are zeroed out, or use the free label software called zebra designer which can be downloaded from this link.
I try it to the best I can, here it goes; printer is connected and power up. Best to be done under xp I still never tried this in vista.
1. Run ssc service utility program. Pop up box will appear. Select Configuration, under Printer model select your model. say stylus r340,then close the box.
2. Program will be reduce to the notification area beside time clock on right bottom of your screen. right click its icon choose protection counter, then hit reset protection counter, wait for sometime.
3. Reboot your CPU. This is the trick for this, sometimes not rebooting the cpu will not totally reset the printer chip.
I think that the CD/DVD printing ability depends on the software that epson bundles with the printer. I had the EPSON R200 and i could only print CD's from the EPSON PrintCD software.
You wouldn't be able to resize the Data Labels. The only thing you can do is either resize the Chart Area so that things will space out accordingly or right-click and format the Data Labels and make the font smaller.
