This is usually not hard to fix. Either the tab that hold the dispenser actuator is broken or the ice guide may have come loose. Repairclinic.com has a nice video on how to fix this.
Check to see if the actuator is lifting up. sometimes these freeze and won't lift the arm that releases that grinding blades. It is in the back panel behind the ice bucket. Remove the bucket and hit the light switch. Then hit the ice actuator flap on the door and see if the little "stirrup" looking thing jumps up. There is usually a clicking sound when it lifts. it could be frozen or just bad.
You need to thaw out the ice machine and see if it works after you thaw it out if that does not fix the problem then the control arm for the ice dispenser is bent.
Either pass side actuator was not plugged in(rear most unit on heater of the 2 actuators for dual zone),(front unit which is an exact opposite is on the opposite side of the heater on the front side) or flap is jammed inside heater assembly. Open the glove compartment and unscrew the door to remove. Look to the left......remove the actuator and move the flap....if it moves and the unit was plugged in replace the actuator for the pass side.
There is a vacuum operated actuator that is in the venting system When you switch your control knob, a vaccum pressure is applied to this actuator. Then the actuator moves a flap that controls the warm air/cold air flow. The flap can get stuck, or the actuator can become leaky or weak
